Disability Initiative has a proud Mum and Dad!

Kayley, Justin and baby Scarlett
It was a normal start to the day for Kayley as she turned up for work here at Disability Initiative on Tuesday 2nd March. With over a week to go before she was due to give birth, Kayley didn’t give it a second thought at the odd twinge she was feeling just before lunch. When the twinges started to increase she mentioned to a fellow member of staff, Jan, that she wasn’t feeling too good.
News soon got to Lucy, the Chief Executive at DI and mother of five children herself, who confirmed that Kayley was, in fact, in labour. Within a few hours, baby Scarlett was born at Frimley Park Hospital at 6.41 p.m. weighing 7lb 9oz.
Kayley has already been back to DI to introduce Scarlett, who is already proving to take everything in her stride, just like her mother.
The clients and staff at DI are all thrilled for Mum and Dad and wish them and their beautiful new daughter every happiness.
