Odd Fellows Sing for DI!
Rushmoor “Odd Fellows” Male Voice Choir sang their hearts out on Thursday 25th June and raised more than £2,000 (including Gift Aid) from ticket sales and on-the-evening donations at The Princes Hall in Aldershot.
It was a fabulous evening of song and entertainment which obviously resonated with the audience who gave so generously on the evening. Disability Initiative was delighted to be the recipient of the proceeds and will ensure that the money is put to good use to benefit its disabled clients.
DI is an established charity that specialises in the provision of services to adults with complex physical disabilities and acquired brain injury. It operates from a purpose-built centre that offers a fully accessible environment with easy access to Camberley town centre.
DI provides a high standard of care and social rehabilitation that recognises personal choices, dignity and freedom of the individual whilst the resource centre provides a vibrant, progressive and dynamic environment where everyone is able to thrive.
