Life, Social, and Independent Living Skills
Independent living means different things to different people. At DI we believe that everyone should have the choice and control over daily aspects of their life.
Clients receive support to reach their highest levels of function, independence, and confidence. This may involve re-learning or acquiring new skills, overcoming obstacles, or discovering innovative approaches to everyday tasks.
Our facility features a fully equipped personal care suite and an adapted kitchen area where transferable skills can be practised and developed. Sessions are available on both a group and individual basis, covering activities such as meal preparation, life skills, budget management, and community engagement.
