Educational and Pre-Vocational Skills

DI offers educational and pre-vocational skills programmes, tailored to support clients with the essential knowledge and practical skills for personal development.
These programmes focus on building confidence, enhancing independence, and preparing clients for the workforce in a supportive environment.

Examples of these sessions include:

  • Basic literacy and numeracy, interactive sessions to enhance reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Life skills, sessions that teach essential skills such as budgeting and planning to promote independence and confidence in managing daily responsibilities.
  • Basic computer skills and smart phone and iPad use.

Through these educational and pre-vocational skills programmes, DI aims to equip clients with the tools and confidence needed to thrive in their personal and professional lives.
