Welcome to Disability Initiative. My name is Lucy Brown, DI’s Chief Executive and I am delighted to welcome you to our website.
I hope you find it interesting, informative and above all I hope it encourages you to find out more about what DI can do for you. I have worked in senior positions in both the statutory and voluntary sector, both large and medium sized organisations but I believe that none are as unique and as inspiring as Disability Initiative.
So, let me introduce you to the team.
The entire DI team are passionate about the work they do and are committed to providing an excellent standard of support. At DI we believe that ‘your goals are our goals’.
The team members are well qualified for the posts they hold and DI ensures that all staff and volunteers are enhanced DBS checked and referenced. They come from varied backgrounds including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, teaching, accounting, dentistry, industry, IT etc. Together they have a vast range of experience in the health and social care field. In addition, all undergo regular training and supervision.
