Health and Wellbeing
At DI, we offer a range of activities specifically designed to enhance overall health and wellbeing.
Health and wellbeing are crucial to both physical and mental health, whilst also improving the overall quality of life DI understands the importance of feeling connected, having a sense of purpose and achievement, and staying as active as possible.
We have a registered dietician available to clients, to provide tailored advice based on medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, mobility issues, or swallowing difficulties) and advice and support to adjust for specific conditions that affect metabolism, digestions, or nutrient absorption. Nutritional analysis and advice are offered to support health and wellbeing.
Support is also provided for individual living and education and guidance is available to create customised meal plans to improve health outcomes.
Disability Initiative collaborates with every client to define what wellbeing means for them and strives to find ways to achieve or maintain it.
